A VISION FOR IMPROVING VETERINARY EDUCA TION IN EGYPT
ABSTRACT
The ever increasing advances in science in developed countries. along with associated fast paced societal changes global-wise have necessitated demands to improve higher education in developing countries to catch up, close the gap and benefit from the progress. In recent years, a serious call eminating from the top government and higher officials has been resonanting among academic circles. The speaker lays out a comprehensive strategy to introduce suggested changes and ideas aiming at improving veterinary education in Egypt. Such changes include structural,curricular, administrative changes as well as efficient utilization of human resources, having in mind long years of experience as an educator and scientist in U.S.A
